THE FOLLOWING
PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HELP WITH:
* STRESS
Stress
is known to release powerful neurochemicals and hormones. prolonged stress can cause physical degeneration of cells,
organs and mental/emotional function. With
the process of Guided Imagery, you will experience the meaning of deep, restorative relaxation. By learning the technique
yourself, you will have the tools to reduce the producttion of stress hormones, a known destructive element that contributes
to degeneratiive conditions like high bolod pressure, heart disease, migrain, anxiety, insomnia and many more chronic and
life threatening conditions. Learn how
to instantly change your body's reaction to a demanding situation or event by simply thinking of the processes that you will
master. Because the mind does not recognize the difference between a memory and the real event, the body reacts to the
thought as though it were really happening. In a negative situation like post traumatic stress syndrome, merely
the thought of the trauma will cause the body to react almost as though the trauma is occurring again. With Guided
Imagery, the memory of the process kicks in and your body reacts to it. Your blood pressure, respiration and heart
rate are reduced to a more calm level and you begin to feel a sense of control again. Muscle tension is eased
and a feeling of calm, peace and tranquility is established.
* ANXIETY
Anxiety
is an unpleasant, emotional state including fear, apprehension, dread and worry. It is often accompanied by physical
senstaions such as heart palpitations, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath or tension headaches. The distressing state of anxiety can be eased and abated by the
positive images of peace, contentment, control and safety instilled by the imagery process. It is designed to reduce
and redirect negative thoughts of past and future dread. By not only learning to recognize the truggers for downward
spirals of fearful and distressing thoughts, but learning how to move into the present moment, the sufferer can step (as if
out of a dream) into the peace and reality of a normal state of mind. With practice, the process to recovery from an episode can take only moments. The relief
of setting oneself free of anxiety and mental stress is a gift only you can give yourself. This holistic tool can be
used anywhere, anytime. Mental and emotional strength may once again be yours.
* MY FATHER'S HOUSE - A GRIEF RECOVERY PROGRAM
This 'long term grief' recovery process helps the bereaved to
focus on their lost relationship and reestablish a sense of connection through memories and images of happiness and contentment.
The sessions, designed around specific and familiar events and locations, lift the person up and out of the habitual thoughts
and feelings of endless loss. These sessions can reconnect the bereaved to their love for the one who is now gone.
It can also provide them with imagery that can bring them to rediscover the sense of love they felt from
that person. This enfolding and
emotional feeling of satisfaction can help them move away from the feelings of desolation and profound loss and sadness.
The five session process helps them to reconnect with their life and move on with it.

FULL CIRCLE - HOLISTIC WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR YOU AND YOUR PERSONAL SUPPORT
GROUP.
For those struggling
with life threatening and acute or chronic long term illnesses, recovery is a daily challenge. The Mind-Body connection
has been studied for decades and now enjoys a respected reputation. Many people with cancer, heart disease, diabetes
and serious illnesses who experience emotional and physical stress have turned to Guided Imagery to provide the rest, support
and physical/emotional renewal they need. What
we think and believe effect our outcome. The kind of support and encouragement that we receive from our circle of friends
and relatives also has a strong impact on our recovery. That team can become a formidable opponent
against the illness. Full Circle was developed to help the sufferer and his/her circle of support to identify and strengthen
the Mind-Body connection, through information on alternative and complimentary recovery tools. Specific health goals
are discussed, identified and translated into taylored mental images. Because the support team often feels at a loss
and 'helpless' to have a real impact on the medical outcome, they are included in this program. They are an integral
part of the mental and physical element of the recovery effort. With this team, the circle is complete. The taylored imagery is used with the whole team. The alternative/complimentary
tools are also discussed with the whole group, so that everyone on the team knows what is available and how it works.
Their support and 'Full Circle' knowledge are available to you whenever you need it. Through this group effort
and synchronized support, the Mind and Body are nurtured. Recovery can be significantly impacted. Knowledge is
power and healing knowledge is life.
* Insomnia
Chronic Insomnia includes
sleep problems characterized by difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking during the night or rising earlier than desired.
The Mind-Body connection is working
not only while we are awake, but as we sometimes try to sleep. Often, it is the mind that can not be shut down and keeps
us from 'drifting off.' This continuous mental jabber may be stopped through the practice of Guided Imagery.
The point of guided meditation is to not only teach us how to physically relax, but the discipline also extends to learning
how to relax and quiet our minds. Both of these processes are involved in sleep. Disciplining the mind is a powerful tool that takes practice. But it also rewards us
with clarity of thought, purpose and goal. It teaches us to shut down the unnecessary review of the past, which can
often lead to feelings of regret, remorse, anger and frustration. Conversely, obsessing over some future outcome or
goal can lead to feelings of dread, fear, anxiety and stress. Neither of these threads of thought are helpful or have
any positive impact on results. Therefore,
shutting down the unnecessary inner dialogue, through practiced mental peace, is the answer to a settled and tranquil mind.
This is very helpful when sleep is the goal.

*PERSONAL GROWTH IMAGERY Providing
a prolonged feeling of confidence, strength, endurance, pride, determination to overcome and a strong sense of self is the
goal of personal growth imagery. Introducing and underscoring personal power can infuse a new sense of self knowledge,
which can translate into a desire to find and maintain 'the best part of one's self.' This can include living with more
integrity, communicating with truth and honesty, maintaining a sense of trust and fairness when dealing with others and treating
one's self with love and respect. Many people look
for a way to live their lives in a different and better way. By providing an opportunity to more closely and honestly
evaluate their life choices and goals for living, they can begin to determine what works and what needs to be changed.
What we say to ourselves internally impacts the way we treat ourselves and behave in the world. When we talk to
ourselves in our heads, we build power behind that dialog. If it is a positive mental talk, we create self support,
self love and a positive and expanded mental attitude about who we are. If that dialog is negative, we can create and
support a very destructive, harmful force within ourselves.

* MEDICAL PROCEDURE RELAXATION THERAPY Creating
a suspended sense of escape to a carefree, restful, private and isolated location offers the listener a chance to feel so
completely relaxed physically, that it is possible to mentally leave the body behind and achieve a sense of tranquillity and
peace, not easily reached without practice. It is at this point that stress, tension and DISease can be replaced with relaxation
and rest. Many people experiencing physical discomfort or disease have used guided imagery to help in the process of self
healing, to reduce the stress associated with an impending surgical procedure or the diagnosis of a serious medical condition.
It has long been documented that patients listening to meditation tapes during and after surgery, have experienced a 'mental
escape', which can significantly decrease the pain and anxiety of a medical procedure and shorten a hospital stay and recovery
period. Guided imagery uses the power of the mind to influence psychological and physiological states, in order to help produce
a positive medical outcome.
What we put in our heads, and allow to stay there, can have strong impact on our outlook
and attitude. The power of stress has been researched for many years and the effects of stress are well know. The way we handle
difficult problems, sutiations or challenges impacts our health. We can create ulcers in our stomach, our mouth, our intestines
and we can damage ourselves with our attitudes in many other ways. Stress is the result of the way we process the world around
us. It is the result of what we see in our lives. How we handle the reaction to stress can determine our future health. We
have the power to create a physical reaction to stress! If we handle it badly, we can create these destructive conditions
within ourselves. But, if we can create them, we can reverse them. We are that powerful!
Improving our health has
become a very popular motivation in using meditation. People looking to impact headaches, smoking, weight loss and addiction
have turned to guided imagery as an additional tool in their quest for healing. It can provide a source of strength, support
and courage in their efforts to overcome the problem with which they are dealing.
Guided Imagery has
been used in many hospital and clinic settings for years. It has been reported to help the patient relax so that muscle
tension, repertory rate, blood pressure, heart rate and other vital signs have been lowered to a more normal and healthy rate.
Prior to surgery, patients are often required to stop all medications, including pain medications. This can lead to increased
anxiety and the dread of uncontrollable pain.
Guided Imagery not
only reduces that stress and anxiety, but can relieve the actual pain itself. This technique employs the patients’ conscious
efforts to combat the medical conditions with which they are faced. It can create a temporary mental escape, not only from
the stress of pain, but also from the surgery itself. Guided Imagery can create a new focus for the patient. Not only can
it reduce pain, surgical time and blood loss, hospital stays and recovery rates, but it can increase the patient’s sense
of calmness and peace. This sense of tranquility and lowered stress has been extremely helpful in the long-term recovery of
those who use the process of Guided Imagery.
*GENERAL RELAXATION THERAPY
If you are starting a new projcet, business, job or any other situation
in which you might want to refresh your attitude or obtain clarity, relaxation therapy can help you reach that state of mind.
Being able to disconnect from confusion, in order to reconnect to a new frame of mind or a new perspective can help you deal
with any demand or change. If you simply want to get away for a while, particularly if you are unable to take a vacation or
short trip, guided imagery is is a way to leave the daily grind and stress behind and reconnect with yourself and your sense
of dignity, self-esteem and control. Guided imagery is an inexpensive, simple way to relax and find yourself again.
Services and sessions can be conducted at my location or yours and can also include phone work. Individuals and groups of
all sizes can be accommodated.
